BAND HW

The International School of Kuala Lumpur provides (Silence) an exceptional education that challenges each student to develop the attitudes, skills, knowledge and understanding to become a highly successful, spirited, socially responsible global citizen.

I felt that the part after the International School of Kuala Lumpur could cause tension. I chose that part because if people were listening to this they would come up with a question like "What are you going to say next? What does ISKL provide?" Tension creates the audience question things. These were the most of the questions I came up with.

Part 2

Composers can make a sudden silence in their music to make people question things like "When is it going to start? Why did it stop?" Then, the composer could start the music quietly or loudly to create the tension. Or, the composer can suddenly make the music quiet when it was loud. They could put short notes right after long notes and accents when there wasn't one. That is how composers can make tension in these ways.

Resolutions for 2010

The resolutions for this year is different than the 2009's resolution. I only have three main resolutions. The first one is to exercise and become a better runner than before. The second resolution is to read many varieties of books. The third resolution is to study harder and get straight A's. Here are the reasons to these three resolutions.

The first resolution is becoming an athletic person or a better runner. When I was young, I used to exercise a lot and run a lot but I started to not exercise that much. I could run short distances but I couldn't run distances that fast because my stamina was weak. I took activities like track and field and it helped me become a good runner. The reason why I chose this resolution is because I want to become a better runner. I hope I can reach my goal! My goal is to make 400, and 800 meters an easy run.

My second resolution was reading varieties of books. When I was young, I really hated to read books and thought books were boring. I hardly read any books when I was young. Slowly, I began to read books but I only read fantasy books. So I was often scolded from my mom that I should read other varieties of books. I started off with mystery books. My top favorite types of books were fantasy, mystery, and a personal life story. It was only three types of books that I liked. So I think I should read more books and different types of them. Also, reading many types of books should help me with my writing, and reading comprehension skills. :D

My third resolution was to study hard and get straight A's. Normally, I make really careless mistakes and always regret about it. Especially in math tests, I make a REALLY HUGE careless mistake. Out of 100 points, I get some points off for that. Careless mistakes just lower my grades. I regret it a lot. This time, I think I should really concentrate on tests so that I can get good grades. My goal is to get higher than an A-! I hope that I can reach this goal, so that I can have new resolutions for the next year.

This was the main three resolutions and why I got these resolutions. These resolutions are really important for me to achieve it. I think writing out these resolutions was a good idea because it helps us to achieve it, and think deeply about it. So I think I would be able to achieve these goals until the end of 2010!
